Disappointments and solutions
But when I came to the location after five hours ride I realized, that the color of the rocks is different than what I saw on the photos. It was not brown but tending to be ochre to light brown. Giving up was no option, so I painted the model with the colors which I had with me.
The weather was very hot, but the model did her best and didn’t complain about it. Though the results were not as expected, I was very content with them.
The situation on my last session was very different. A model offered her collaboration, claiming that she can dance. She was not my dream looking model, but I depended on her declaration regarding the dance. Nevertheless, when time came to filming and photographing, she confessed that she can’t dance at all. What do I do now?
“How is that possible?” I asked her, “You wrote me that you could do that!”. Silence, head in the ground.
Now I had two options: Send her away with a curse and fulmination or try to create a session by teaching her to dance on spot. Me, with my two wooden legs…
Never give up, I chose the second option. I gave her instructions, as if I knew how to dance myself. The results are not really beautiful, but it could have been much worse.
