About the site

The site Amit Bar photography launched in the fall of 1997. It started with five photos and expanded meanwhile to over a thousand artworks. Because body-paintings and drawings were added in a later stadium I decided to change the name to Amit Bar fine art photography.

National and international magazines have covered this website with great enthusiasm.

The site has welcomed its first millionth visitor on February 10th, 2001, its second millionth on June 8th, 2003 and the third millionth on 16th November 2005. Many people sent their positive reactions as a personal message or by signing my guestbook, which gave me lots of encouragement to create new work. I would like to thank you all for this.
